In a large bowl, add water, sugar and yeast. Give it a little stir and let it proof until creamy and foamy, about 10 minutes.
Mix in salt and oil.
Mix in flour 1 cup at a time, mixing until nearly fully incorporated before adding the next cup.
Knead dough until smooth.
Place in a well oiled bowl, cover and let rest until doubled (Approx. 1 hour)
Punch down dough, knead 3 or 4 times in the bowl, then divide the dough in half.
Shape into loaves and place into well oiled loaf pans. Allow to rise for 30 minutes or unitl dough has risen 1 inch above the pans.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
Immediatley remove from pans and place onto colling rack to cool before slicing. I usually run a butterknife along the egdes just to break suction, and then flip the pan upsidedown on the racks to remove the loaves.
